n.	1.	One who, or that which, burns or sets fire to anything.
	2.	The part of a lamp, gas fixture, etc., where the flame is produced. Bunsen's burner (Chem.) see Bunsen burner. Argand burner etc. See under Argand, Rose, etc.

Noun	1.	burner - an apparatus for burning fuel (or refuse); "a diesel engine is an oil burner"
	2.	burner - the heating elements of a stove or range on which pots and pans are placed for cooking; "the electric range had one large burner and three smaller one"
