n.	1.	Same as Taboret.
	2.	A seat without arms or back, cushioned and stuffed: a high stool; - so called from its resemblance to a drum.
	3.	An embroidery frame. Right of the tabouret the privilege of sitting on a tabouret in the presence of the severeign, formerly granted to certain ladies of high rank at the French court.
